We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented M E Design Engineer to join our growing Building Services team based in Newmarket. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer at an early stage of their career who is keen to develop their technical expertise and contribute to a diverse range of projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
You will support the design and delivery of mechanical and electrical building services systems, working closely with senior engineers and project teams to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design of mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, lighting, power, and public health services
- Produce technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Support project delivery from initial concept through to completion
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other design disciplines
- Ensure designs comply with current regulations, standards, and sustainability requirements
- Attend site visits and project meetings as required
- Contribute to problem-solving and value engineering discussions
