Your new role We're looking for a proactive, people-centred Housing Tenancy Sustainment Officer.

As a Housing Officer, you'll work directly with individuals and families who may be at risk of homelessness, supporting them to build stability, independence, and ensure they continue to sustain their tenancy agreement.

If you have proven experience in housing or support service, are a strong communicator, and feel confident working with vulnerable people, this role could be perfect for you!

You'll be expected to: Provide one-to-one tenancy sustainment support, including budgeting, life skills, all areas of moving in and understanding tenancy responsibilities.

Work with residents to prevent eviction, resolve arrears, and negotiate with landlords or housing providers.

Carry out home visits, risk assessments, and support plans tailored to each client's needs.

Support clients to access welfare benefits, grants, employment services, and community resources.

Liaise with external agencies including social services, mental health teams, DWP, and local authorities.

Maintain accurate case notes, safeguarding records, and reporting outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed Experience in housing support, homelessness prevention, social care, or a related field.
