Your new company are a leader in their field based in Stoke on Trent and are looking for a qualified or part-qualified Management Accountant and Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership. Assist with the production and review of financial results across multiple business units. Deliver regular profitability, revenue and cost analysis to support decision-making. Produce monthly reporting packs, dashboards and key performance indicators. Lead the year-end audit process and act as the primary contact for external auditors. Coordinate information required for corporate tax compliance and liaise with external advisors where required. Monitor debtor performance and provide analysis on outstanding balances. Produce accurate and timely financial reports for senior stakeholders. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls. Oversee banking activities, cash management and treasury processes. Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations and recharges. Complete bank reconciliations and maintain financial records. Prepare indirect tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain fixed asset registers and related reporting. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for business projects.
