\nYour new role
\nAs Legal Counsel, you will provide practical legal and contractual advice across the full project lifecycle, supporting both pre-construction and delivery teams.
\n
\nKey responsibilities include:

\n\n

\n\t
• Advising on tenders, identifying risks and supporting bid teams with mitigation strategies
\n\t
• Supporting contract execution and ensuring compliance with internal governance
\n\t
• Assisting with claims, disputes and adjudication processes
\n\t
• Contributing to legal risk reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
\n\t
• Delivering training and guidance to internal stakeholders
\n

\n\n

\nWhat you'll need to succeed

\n\n

\n\t
• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE (Scots Law qualification essential; dual qualification in English Law advantageous).
\n\t
• Proven experience within construction or infrastructure law, ideally in-house or supporting similar clients.
\n\t
• Extensive experience working with JCT, SBCC and NEC forms of contract and their amendments.
\n\t
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
\n\t
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex contractual documentation.
\n\t
• Ability to deliver training and confidently present to senior audiences.
\n
