Your new role
As an experienced electrician, you'll carry out electrical installations and testing within domestic properties across Hampshire. Your work will be scheduled for you in advance, and tasks will be shared through a PDA, so you'll feel at ease using technology and digital systems. You'll predominantly work independently, using your own initiative, but with ongoing support from regional supervisors. You'll also attend regular team meetings and toolbox talks for continued training, updates, and development. You'll be provided with a company vehicle, enabling you to travel between multiple locations throughout the day, giving you the chance to really get to know the wider Hampshire area. As a key representative of the organisation, you'll bring a positive, customer-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering a high quality service first time.
What you'll need to succeed
- A fully qualified electrician, holding AM2 (or equivalent) and City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
- Experienced in domestic electrical installations, inspection, and testing to British Standards
- Knowledgeable about safety and compliance regulations, including all relevant Health & Safety standards
- Confident working independently, while also collaborating effectively with internal colleagues to ensure jobs are completed and ongoing works are recorded accurately
- Comfortable working in customers' homes and delivering excellent customer service
- A strong problem-solver, with high standards of workmanship and pride in the service you provide
- Able to work flexibly, including participation in an out-of-hours standby rota
- A clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
- In possession of a full UK driving licence
- Willing and able to meet face-fit requirements
