Your new role As a qualified Social worker for Oxfordshire County Council, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team working within Adult Social Care, delivering strength-based support to individuals, families, and carers across Oxfordshire. You will work collaboratively with health, housing, and other partner agencies to promote independence, safeguard vulnerable adults, and contribute to building resilient communities.
Key Responsibilities- Work within the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act 1983, and other relevant legislation.
- Undertake timely and proportionate assessments, reviews, and interventions.
- Develop support plans that reflect individual needs and outcomes.
- Promote independence through reablement services, assistive technology, and equipment.
- Participate in duty rota, including telephone and emergency advice.
- Carry out safeguarding enquiries and report concerns appropriately.
