Hays are looking for an experienced Site Manager to provide short-term holiday cover on a school project in Great Barr, Birmingham. This is a temporary assignment supporting ongoing subcontract works, with a handover available from the current Senior Site Manager on site.
The role will involve:
- Managing site activity
- Overseeing subcontractors
- Ensuring works are delivered safely
- Keeping the project moving while the existing site team are away
The Role:
- Providing site management cover on a live school project
- Managing daily site operations and subcontractor activity
- Overseeing borehole works for a TRT test
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Managing permits, RAMS and on-site coordination
- Liaising with the existing site team following handover
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on construction projects
- Groundworks or drilling experience would be highly beneficial
- Permit to dig experience
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
