Your new company Due to the partnership between Hays and Birmingham City Council, we are looking to recruit a Sheltered Housing Support Officer to support residents living in sheltered housing across the city.

Your new role Birmingham City Council is seeking a compassionate, proactive and customer-focused Sheltered Housing Support Officer to join our Housing and Communities Team.

This rewarding role supports older and vulnerable residents living within sheltered housing schemes, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life within a safe and secure environment.

As a Sheltered Housing Support Officer, you will build positive relationships with residents, provide practical housing-related support, coordinate services, and work closely with colleagues, families and partner agencies to ensure residents receive the help they need.

Experience of supporting residents in sheltered housing and enabling independent living is a key aspect of the role.
