I am currently working with a London-based financial services client who are actively seeking a Senior Fullstack Python Developer to work on the development of a next-generation research platform.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Strong Python software engineering experience beyond exploratory scripts
  • Hands-on experience working with notebooks as part of real analytical or research workflows
  • Experience building systems that support data analysis, simulations, or computational research
  • Understanding of the challenges around reproducibility, dependency management, and scientific software performance
  • Comfortable working across the stack (backend + UI or APIs)
  • Ability to collaborate closely with non-traditional 'software engineer' users such as researchers, quants, or scientists
  • Background in quantitative finance or research engineering
