I am currently working with a London-based financial services client who are actively seeking a Senior Fullstack Python Developer to work on the development of a next-generation research platform.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong Python software engineering experience beyond exploratory scripts
- Hands-on experience working with notebooks as part of real analytical or research workflows
- Experience building systems that support data analysis, simulations, or computational research
- Understanding of the challenges around reproducibility, dependency management, and scientific software performance
- Comfortable working across the stack (backend + UI or APIs)
- Ability to collaborate closely with non-traditional 'software engineer' users such as researchers, quants, or scientists
- Background in quantitative finance or research engineering
