Hays Legal is exclusively instructed on this key senior in-house appointment at this international professional services organisation offering a truly collegiate environment. Reporting to the General Counsel for EMEA, you may currently be working as a fee-earner at a law firm (international or national firm) with a commercial contracts or litigation or corporate focus or will already be an in-house lawyer or be working in a compliance role in a professional services organisation.
As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert advice and solutions on a range of commercial contracts and data matters, regulatory, compliance and professional conduct matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on contract issues and data protection queries.
- Leading on global risk management projects.
- Designing and implementing compliance systems and procedures.
- Developing and rolling out global risk management policies and providing training.
- Advising on legal, regulatory and ethical standards and investigating potential conduct issues.
This is a fabulous opportunity for a senior lawyer (minimum 7 years PQE) to join a highly regarded in-house legal team. Ideal lawyers will have a strong commercial background. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build a strong rapport with key senior stakeholders throughout the organisation, the ability to think commercially and logically.
