Your new role
In this role, you will operate as a Senior Claims Broker, supporting both the day-to-day handling of claims and the broader development of the claims function. You will take responsibility for managing claims from notification through to settlement, ensuring accurate and timely processing across Lloyd's and company market systems. Alongside this, you will deputise for the Claims Manager where required, providing guidance to colleagues and supporting team delivery against key performance targets.
You will be heavily involved in market-facing activity, liaising with insurers, brokers, clients and third-party administrators to ensure claims are handled efficiently and transparently.
Responsibilities will include:
- Producing claims bordereaux, loss runs and reporting
- Reconciling claims data
- Ensuring adequate funding of loss funds
- Supporting complex claims administration across both open market and delegated authority business
- Contributing to internal projects
- Supporting system and process development
- Maintaining claims procedures
- Delivering training to colleagues, particularly around London Market systems such as ECF
