About the Role:
Hays Education is recruiting for enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support a specialist education setting from September 2026. We have a range of opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, long-term placements, and temp-to-perm roles, offering flexibility as well as the chance to secure a permanent position. You will be supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them to engage with learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND
- Assist with tailored learning activities
- Support pupils with communication, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Work closely with teachers and support staff
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Support with personal care where required
