Your new school Hays Education are seeking an experienced and committed specialist Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant who can support a pupil on a one-to-one basis. The right candidate will be working one-to-one with a pupil, who is currently displaying the following needs:- Autism- Challenging and disruptive behaviour- Verbally and occasionally physically aggressive- 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant Your new role Due to the nature of this position, the school require somebody with a strong background in supporting pupils with ASD (Autism) or those with challenging behaviours. The school will consider applications from Psychology Graduates with placement experience in ASD settings. It is important that you have a calm but firm and stable approach when working with pupils.The school is based in Manchester and is a larger than average 2 form entry Primary School.
