About the Role

Hays Education are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in the East Grinstead area. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and sensory challenges.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and specialist staff to create a positive learning environment.

About You

We are looking for professionals who are:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
  • Experienced in supporting pupils with SEN in a school or care setting.
  • Patient, adaptable, and confident in managing a variety of needs.
  • Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff quickly.
  • Reliable, proactive, and comfortable supporting schools at short notice.
  • Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or you must be willing to obtain one.
