SEN Teaching Assistant

We are a welcoming and supportive Special Educational Needs school catering to a broad spectrum of needs, and we are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team this September.

About the Role: We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils with diverse and complex needs. The successful candidates will play a key role in assisting pupils with their learning, emotional wellbeing, and personal development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils in class, small group work, and on a 1:1 basis
• Assisting with the implementation of individual learning plans
• Encouraging pupil engagement, independence, and achievement
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure pupil progress

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
• A calm, patient, and empathetic nature
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs
