About The Role
We are currently recruiting for dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Staff to join a specialist school setting in the Rugby area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to build confidence, independence, and develop both academically and socially. You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism, communication needs, and complex learning difficulties, working closely with teaching staff to ensure every student can access their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Support the delivery of tailored learning activities
- Assist students with additional needs, including personal care where required
- Encourage independence, engagement, and social development
- Support behaviour management in line with school policies
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider support staff
