We are working with a specialist school in Worthing to recruit a KS3/4 SEN Maths Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive setting that works with students who require a more personalised and therapeutic approach to learning. The Role:
- You will deliver engaging, accessible Maths lessons to students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH and associated learning needs, often within small class sizes.
- Alongside teaching, you will take the lead on Maths across the school, helping to shape the curriculum, drive progress, and support colleagues in delivering high-quality lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored Maths lessons that meet individual student needs.
- Lead and develop the Maths curriculum across the provision.
- Track progress and implement targeted interventions.
- Support staff with planning, differentiation, and behaviour strategies.
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and work closely with pastoral teams.
- Foster a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
