Your new role
Hays Education is working with a number of schools based in Derby who are looking for a Caretaker to start as soon as possible. The position will be from Monday to Friday, but the hours may vary from school to school. The roles will initially be on a temporary basis, but with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Your responsibilities will include:
- General grounds and building maintenance
- Minor repair work e.g. changing light bulbs
- Ensuring heating, lighting and alarm systems are working
- Responsibility of building keys - locking and unlocking as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in managing premises or maintenance, ideally in a school
- Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Be reliable, resilient and hardworking
