Job Description
Your new company
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected law firm in Greater Manchester.
The firm has a strong employment practice advising both employers and employees across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
Due to continued growth, the team is looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor to support its expanding client base.
Your new role
This Employment Solicitor role will see you handle a broad range of employment law matters for both employer and employee clients.
The caseload will encompass both contentious and advisory work, including Employment Tribunal proceedings, settlement agreements, workplace policies and procedures, contracts of employment, redundancy and reorganisation projects, and wider HR support.
You will work as part of a collaborative team with the autonomy to manage your own files and further develop your employment law expertise.
What you'll need to succeed
Applications are welcomed from Employment Solicitors between NQ and 6 years' PQE.
For NQ candidates, it is essential that you have gained at least 12 months' substantive employment law experience prior to qualification, rather than solely through an employment seat during your training contract.
You should have experience across a range of employment law matters, including exposure to Employment Tribunal work and settlement agreements, together with strong technical, organisational and client management skills.
The successful candidate will be commercially aware, capable of managing their own workload and keen to contribute to a collaborative and growing team.
What you'll get in return
This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving employment team within a highly regarded firm that is continuing to grow.
You'll benefit from a competitive salary and benefits package, flexible and hybrid working options, exposure to high-quality and varied employment work, and clear opportunities to develop your career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
