Hays Education is proud to be working with a variety of primary schools across Rugby, and we are currently recruiting KS2 Teaching Assistants to join our trusted supply agency. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning. Opportunities range from day-to-day supply to long-term placements.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils with their learning in class and in small groups
- Assisting pupils with additional needs where required
- Helping to create a positive, safe and supportive classroom environment
- Supporting lesson preparation and classroom organisation
To be considered, you should:
- Have experience working with children in a UK primary school (KS2 preferred)
- Be patient, adaptable and enthusiastic about supporting learning
- Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
- Be able to provide two professional references
