Job Description
Hays are now looking for a Ruby Developer for one of our local clients:
- Day Rate: Negotiable
- Hybrid: Mainly Remote with some travel to Bath
- Contract Length: 10 Months+
The successful candidate will join a compact, high-performing development team, delivering targeted Ruby-based projects including development of our client's content management systems.
What We Are Looking For* Broad expertise in Ruby-driven digital development, evidenced by a strong portfolio * Deep familiarity with standard Ruby tools and workflows, including GitLab * Rapid aptitude for understanding complex systems and infrastructures * Proven track record of independently leading development initiatives * Skilled in advising on technical roadmaps and infrastructure decisions * Strong adherence to Agile practices, with hands-on experience in iterative delivery teams * Proficient using Jira or equivalent project-management platforms * Extensive hands-on work with Ruby-based CMS (inc.Typecase) or equivalent systems
