An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a busy and successful Residential Property team. Working alongside experienced lawyers, you will support a broad range of residential conveyancing matters while also developing and managing your own caseload under supervision. The role will involve assisting on sales and purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages, licences to assign and deeds of covenant. You will attend client meetings, draft legal documentation, undertake legal research and help progress transactions from instruction through to completion. In addition, you will support the team with Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions, lender portal requirements, billing processes and general file management.
The position would suit an existing Residential Property Paralegal looking to develop their technical skills and take on greater responsibility, or an experienced Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary seeking the opportunity to manage their own files and progress their legal career. Candidates should have at least one year's experience within a Residential Property team, either as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or similar. Experience within residential conveyancing is preferred, although applicants with exposure to Commercial Property, Plot Sales, New Homes or other property-related disciplines will also be considered.
The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and capable of managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment. In return, you will join a highly regarded property team with a strong reputation for quality work and client service. The role offers excellent exposure to high-value residential property matters, ongoing training and development opportunities, and genuine long-term career progression. A competitive salary and benefits package is available, alongside hybrid working arrangements, typically involving 2-3 days in the office per week.
If this role is not quite right for you but you are considering a move within Residential Conveyancing, Property Law, Plot Sales or New Homes, I would be delighted to discuss other opportunities currently available.
