Your new company Birmingham City Council is seeking an experienced and proactive Resourcing Advisor to join the team on a long-term temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple stakeholders, and is confident delivering high-quality recruitment and onboarding activity across a large, complex organisation.
You'll be part of a collaborative, supportive team within one of the UK's largest local authorities. This role offers exposure to a wide range of recruitment activity, the chance to influence resourcing strategy, and the potential for extension or temp-to-perm conversion.
Your new role In this role, you will advise on resourcing strategies to support the Resourcing Partner and play a key part in delivering all recruitment activity, including JNC campaigns across directorates. You will ensure that all job adverts meet BCC standards and comply with legislative requirements, while working closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
You will manage the full recruitment life cycle, from job postings and screening through to shortlisting and interview coordination. As the lead for specific resourcing areas, you will define the most effective methodologies for success and drive resourcing programmes to ensure delivery against SLA and KPI targets.
