The predicted salary is between 34000 - 46000 £ per year.
An environmental and design consultancy that operates across the UK out of Suffolk, giving their staff excellent flexibility to work remotely UK-wide. They offer a range of services, such as Ecology, BNG, Arboriculture, Landscape planning/design and vegetation management, with typical clients in the residential sector (single houses and large developments).
Their flexibility is demonstrated as they have a lot of remote staff that only attend the office during social events and seasonal celebrations.
You will work remotely (unless local to Suffolk) to help support the Ecology team from a technical perspective. Your main duties will include:
- Technical report writing for EcIA, PRA, PEA, HRA etc.
- Mentoring junior colleagues via Teams
- Fee quoting
- Ecological 1st and 2nd tier checking
- Supporting to complete surveys if needed (if you’re based locally)
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A degree in an environmental field
- Level 1 or 2 bat licence holder
- Proven experience writing technical ecology reports
- Experience mentoring junior Ecologists (ideal)
What you’ll get in return:
- £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
- Fully remote working
- 25 days annual leave including 3 days over Christmas (plus 8 days for bank holidays)
