As a Tech 3, you will be providing advanced hands-on technical support to employees through a walk-up IT Tech Bar service, diagnosing and resolving complex hardware and software issues, and assisting with a wide range of IT-related requests.
Location: Redditch B98 7UB
Contract Dates: 1 June 2026 - 31st May 2027
Pay Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.85 PAYE) OR £25.75 per hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 - 17:30 (37.5 hours a week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides hands-on technical support to employees through a walk-up IT Tech Bar service
- Acts as a first point of contact for resolving IT-related issues
- Diagnoses and resolves hardware-related problems (desktops, laptops, peripherals)
- Troubleshoots and fixes software-related issues
- Assists employees with general IT requests and queries
- Ensures a smooth and efficient support experience for end-users
- Demonstrates a strong customer service mindset
- Takes a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Utilises strong troubleshooting skills across a variety of IT problems
