Your new primary school is part of a multi-academy trust in South Gloucestershire who are looking for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant. A full-time vacancy to support the reception class with the flexibility of supporting across KS1 too. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside the class teacher to provide focused learning and planning and leading stimulating activities based around the EYFS.
As an early years TA, you will be a dedicated key person monitoring and recording progress in the pupils' learning diaries, liaising with parents and ensuring the children's health and safety at all times. Knowledge of working with the EYFS curriculum is essential due to the age ranges of the pupils you will be supporting. An enthusiastic and caring manner is necessary to support the pupils in their transition into school life.
You will have specific experience supporting pupils through EYFS in a school setting. It is desirable to hold NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications.
