Your new company is a large tech business based near Reading offering hybrid working 2 days a week in the office each week. This is a 3-month assignment initially, likely to extend.
Your new role involves working as part of a large Regulatory Compliance programme. You will ensure the assessment processes meet the defined requirements, maintain stakeholder engagement, and provide continuous updates on the delivery and management of the solution. This is a hands-on role supporting the project.
- Supporting with compliance, particularly the Operational Security Review.
- Supporting with process automation and system integration opportunities to improve the overall delivery and ongoing management of the internal review process.
- Supporting with the maturity of the current delivery model from a manual completion process to an effective and streamlined approach that provides assurance that regulatory requirements continue to be met throughout the supplier relationship.
- Supporting with the responses to technical queries from SMEs across the business.
- Working with large vendor evidence packs and challenging answers when necessary.
- Manually entering information into spreadsheets.
- Coordinating any flags or gaps and investigating and validating issues.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Understanding of and experience with ISO 27001 or similar IT Security Compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of security risk management and governance experience with the ability to demonstrate how key deliverables provide effective mitigation strategies to any associated risks.
- Experience of Third-Party Management, Risk and Compliance, with the ability to challenge answers when necessary.
- Having a clear understanding of how different supplier obligations are applicable across supplier services such as third-party administrators, network equipment suppliers, and managed service providers.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicate clearly with technical stakeholders, including IT teams and engineers.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and translate requirements into actionable tasks.
- Experience within Telecoms and with TSA would be beneficial, but not essential.
What you’ll get in return:
- Initially a 3-month assignment, likely to extend.
- Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office based in the Reading area.
- Day rate £350-400 per day via an umbrella company (in-scope of IR35).
