We are seeking a Business Analyst (Data - Mobile Backhaul) to support the planning and optimisation of a national mobile backhaul network.
This is a newly created role focused on analysing large volumes of network, demand and performance data to support investment decisions, prioritisation activities and operational efficiency across the backhaul estate. Working across network, planning and delivery teams, you'll turn complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse large scale mobile backhaul and network datasets
- Develop prioritisation frameworks and support investment decisions
- Consolidate data from multiple tools and systems to provide actionable insights
- Work closely with Backhaul, Radio, Planning and Delivery teams
- Produce reports, dashboards and recommendations for stakeholders
- Support the automation and improvement of reporting processes
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting and business planning activities
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong understanding of Mobile Backhaul (essential)
- Experience working with large, complex datasets
- Background in Business Analysis, Data Analysis or Telecoms environments
- Advanced Excel skills
- SQL, Tableau, Power BI or Python experience would be beneficial
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Mobile telecoms, transport or transmission networks exposure
- Radio Access Network (RAN) exposure
