Your new company You will be joining an industry-leading, well-established multi-sector civil engineering contractor. Due to their strong project pipeline and their existing project load, they are now looking to onboard either a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team. Your new role As Quantity Surveyor, you will be based in their site office and be responsible for, but not limited to, producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value, monitoring cash flow and valuation plans, managing subcontract tender processes, managing subcontractor accounts as well as providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects. This role is predominantly office-based with opportunities to work from home. What you’ll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will ideally hold a degree/HND in Quantity Surveying (or similar) and have good working knowledge of NEC contracts, in particular NEC Option B. In addition, you will have proficient IT skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Finally, you will have strong organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
