We're thrilled to be expanding our provision for children under the age of three by introducing a brand-new, dedicated space designed specifically for babies. This development comes in response to the growing demand for high-quality care for our youngest children. Our approach is rooted in creating a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish. We are passionate about delivering exceptional early years education and care that sparks curiosity and supports holistic development from the very beginning.

We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and experienced practitioners to join our baby team. In this role, you'll be part of a close-knit group dedicated to supporting the care and development of babies aged 0-2 years. You'll play a key role in ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being, while maintaining the highest standards of care and promoting each child's individual growth and learning.

Working hours are:

  • 36 hours per week: 9.30am to 5pm each day (with a half an hour unpaid lunch break), plus an hour from 5 to 6 pm for the weekly staff meeting on a Wednesday from 5pm to 6pm. You will work under the direction of the Baby Room Lead.
  • 33.5 hours per week: Working hours are 9am to 4pm each day (with a half an hour unpaid lunch break), plus an hour from 5 to 6 pm for the weekly staff meeting on a Wednesday from 5pm to 6pm. You will work under the direction of the Baby Room Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning, development, and care activities that meet the individual needs of children.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress and achievements.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure the nursery is a safe and stimulating environment for children.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A recognised childcare Level 3 qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working within Early Years.
