Job Description
Your new companyBased in Bristol, this construction company is recruiting a qualified Health and Safety advisor on a six-month temporary basis to manage the demolition of an industrial site near the docks. The job will involve carrying out day-to-day Health and Safety duties on a construction/ demolition site.
Your new roleAs the Health and Safety advisor, you will:
Risk Assessment: Identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to reduce risks.Site Inspections: Regularly inspecting the site to ensure safety standards are being followed.Training & Briefings: Providing safety inductions and training sessions for workers.Incident Management: Investigating any accidents or near-misses and putting in place corrective actions.Regulatory Compliance: Making sure the site complies with health and safety laws, including asbestos management and structural integrity.Documentation: Maintaining safety records, method statements, and emergency procedures.What you'll need to succeedYou must have experience of working on a UK construction site and be fully aware of all related Health and Safety legislation.NEBOSH and CSCS card are essential.Demolition experience will be useful but not essential for this job.
