About the Role

We're working exclusively with the English-Speaking Union (ESU) to appoint a Property Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile refurbishment project at Dartmouth House, their historic London headquarters. This role sits at the heart of a major transformation programme, backed by significant funding, to create an international hub for debate and education. You'll act as the client-side lead, overseeing the refurbishment from design through to completion while shaping the future operational model of the building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major refurbishment project
  • Act as the primary client-side interface with consultants, contractors, and advisors
  • Manage programme, budget, risks, and governance
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and drive key project decisions
  • Oversee procurement and commercial processes, including reviewing costs and payments
  • Ensure compliance with planning, heritage, and statutory requirements
  • Support operational readiness, including facilities management planning post-completion
  • Provide clear reporting to senior leadership and trustees
