Your new company is a national law firm with an excellent profile in the procurement field, involved in cutting-edge work across its team.
Your new role as a procurement and commercial solicitor will involve handling an interesting mix of work. You will advise clients on procurement law issues under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, the Procurement Act 2023, and Procurement Regulations 2024, as well as the Provider Selection Regime. Additionally, you will advise on the procurement process and how to structure procurement projects. You will also handle a range of commercial contracts including services and goods contracts, framework agreements, call-off terms, concession contracts, grant agreements, collaboration agreements, and contracts based on standard templates. The client list is impressive and focused around public sector clients. You will work across the national team and partner closely with clients.
What you'll need to succeed: You should be a procurement or commercial lawyer with 3 years' pqe or operating up to and including Legal Director level. With good technical skills, you should be adept at working closely with clients and colleagues. Applications are welcomed from those looking to work part-time.
