A mainstream secondary school in Preston is seeking a Design Technology Teacher with strengths in Product Design and Resistant Materials to join their team from September 2026. This is a long-term role running through to Easter 2027, paid to scale from the first day.
About the Role
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will be joining a well-established DT department with excellent facilities and a supportive leadership team. The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging, practical and theory-based lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a particular focus on Product Design and Resistant Materials. You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing high-quality lessons that inspire creativity, problem-solving and technical skill development. Key Responsibilities
