About the Role

As a Pre-School Room Leader, you will take full responsibility for leading and managing a busy pre-school room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and development for children aged 3-5 years. You will play a key role in shaping the curriculum, mentoring staff, and creating an engaging and stimulating environment that supports every child's individual development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and support a team of practitioners within the pre-school room
  • Plan and deliver a creative, play-based curriculum in line with the EYFS framework
  • Monitor children's learning and development, ensuring accurate observations and assessments
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and updates
  • Ensure the room meets all safeguarding, health safety, and Ofsted requirements

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
  • Proven experience working within a nursery setting, ideally in a senior or room leader capacity
