Start Date: Immediate?? Pay: £16-£18 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)?? Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pmHays Recruitment is supporting a leading facilities management provider with a short-term project at a major university campus in York. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Plumber's Mate / Labourer to assist with the replacement of 120 radiators in student accommodation.Please note: This is a confidential client role. Full details will be shared at a later stage?? Role Overview:You'll be working alongside qualified plumbers to support the safe and efficient removal and installation of radiators. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with basic plumbing or construction experience looking for immediate work.? Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the removal and fitting of radiators
- Carrying tools, materials, and equipment between rooms
- Helping to drain and refill heating systems
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
- Following instructions from the lead plumber and site supervisor
?? Requirements:
- Previous experience in a plumbing, labouring, or construction support role
- CSCS card preferred but not essential
- Good work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Own PPE (boots, hi-vis, gloves)
