Job Description
Your new companyYou will be working for a leading social housing contractor throughout the North-West on a long term, temporary contract.Your new role
- Carry out internal and external plastering repairs and full re-skims in occupied and void properties.
- Prepare surfaces for plastering, including removing old plaster, patching, bonding, and applying finishing coats.
- Work alongside other trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers, decorators) to complete multi-trade jobs.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on jobs.
- Communicate effectively with tenants, housing officers, and supervisors to ensure minimal disruption.
- Identify and report any additional repair needs or safeguarding concerns.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally within social housing or domestic settings.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plastering (or time-served experience).
- Full UK driving licence (if role includes travel between properties).
