As part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Peterborough office with flexible and hybrid working.
Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the Commercial Manager and take responsibility for the commercial performance of the project, ensuring robust cost control and value recovery. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing project budgets, cost reporting and forecasting cost to completion
- Administering NEC contracts, including subcontract management and contractual correspondence
- Procuring subcontract packages and preparing tender documentation
- Managing variations and compensation events, including delay analysis and loss expense claims
- Providing detailed cost analysis and maintaining transparent financial reporting
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular engagement
