Your new company is a well-established and growing claimant law firm looking to recruit a solicitor or chartered legal executive into their personal injury department, working on a range of Occupiers' and Public Liability (OL/PL) claims. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage a high-quality caseload within a supportive and collaborative environment. Your new role will see you:
- Managing a caseload of OL/PL claims from cradle to grave
- Drafting legal documentation, including pleadings and witness statements
- Conducting legal research and advising clients on case strategy
- Negotiating settlements and progressing matters through litigation
- Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
- Ensuring cases are advanced efficiently to maximise outcomes
- Working within a target-driven, fast-paced environment
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and procedural rules
What you'll need to succeed:
- Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with 1+ year PQE
- Experience managing a caseload of OL/PL claims
- Ability to draft legal documentation, including pleadings and witness statements
- Experience conducting legal research and advising clients on case strategy
- Skills in negotiating settlements and progressing matters through litigation
- Experience representing clients at hearings where appropriate
- Ability to ensure cases are advanced efficiently to maximise outcomes
- Experience working within a target-driven, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and procedural rules
