Job Description A well-established and growing international organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join its finance shared services team based in Barrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple payrolls while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high standard of employee service. The OpportunityReporting to a senior finance leader, you will play a key role in the accurate and timely administration of payroll activities across UK operations, while also supporting selected international payroll processes. Working closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers, you will help ensure payroll is delivered efficiently, compliantly and to strict deadlines. Support the processing of monthly and quarterly payrolls across multiple entities. Maintain accurate payroll records, deductions and statutory information. Administer pension schemes and related payroll deductions. Support payroll year-end activities, including P11D preparation and submissions. Investigate and resolve payroll queries from employees and managers. Reconcile payroll data and maintain auditable records. Liaise with external payroll providers and support international payroll administration where required. Ensure payroll processes comply with internal controls, GDPR and relevant legislation. Previous payroll administration experience. A sound understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and payroll legislation. Experience working with payroll systems and strong Excel skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet payroll deadlines.
