Your new company is an independent and growing accountancy firm based in Central London seeking a part-time payroll manager. The firm provides a number of services to clients ranging from high-net-worth individuals to large international organisations.

Your new role involves overseeing and managing the payroll function, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the payroll process while working closely with a varied client base to ensure a seamless and compliant service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients using IRIS payroll software.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely submission of RTI returns to HMRC.
  • Handling pension auto-enrolment and compliance requirements.
  • Dealing with payroll queries from clients and employees in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Producing payroll reports and providing insights where required.
  • Liaising with HMRC and other external bodies where necessary.
  • Supporting process improvements within the payroll function.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience in a payroll role, ideally within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong working knowledge of IRIS payroll software.
