About the Role
Hays Education is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Music Teacher to join a school close to Rye on a temporary, one-term basis starting September. This is a 0.6 timetable across Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality music education and supporting the wider musical life of the school.
In this role, you will:
- Teach Music across KS3 and potentially KS4, delivering engaging and creative lessons.
- Liaise with peripatetic teachers to support instrumental tuition and ensure smooth scheduling.
- Contribute to the Music Department through planning, assessment, and resource preparation.
- Support extracurricular music where required, such as rehearsals or performances.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and progress.
What you'll need to succeed
