A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to join our team in our well-resourced 'good' school. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual with the relevant experience to join our school.
Are you interested in supporting the development of a range of services that will make a real difference to our children and community? Are you a committed and enthusiastic person, with a relevant NVQ3 qualification or equivalent, who is able to:
- Understand the needs of children and their families, working with them to ensure they are fully supported.
- Promote children's learning from age 3-11 by engaging parents through home visits and encouraging parents/carers to attend courses at school.
- Support the development of parents/carers knowledge and skills about their children's development.
- Support parents' own personal development, leading to further training and/or employment.
- Promote healthy lifestyles, positive peer/family relationships and safe parenting whilst understanding culture and community identity.
- Undertake relevant assessments under the direction of a social worker, senior practitioner or manager involving safeguarding services where required.
- Liaise with schools, health and partner organisations to meet the holistic needs of families.
