Data Protection Officer sought for a well-known national UK Charity. Remote opportunity but MUST be UK-based. Interim, part-time DPO is needed for high-level scrutiny and decision-making in relation to the Charity's more complex matters.

A large national UK charity has an excellent opportunity for an interim Data Protection Officer. The role can be performed completely remotely (with the opportunity for office attendance if preferred). The interim DPO will be in post for approximately 3-4 months, most likely 2 days a week, possibly 3.

The client has an existing Information Governance team, comprising an Information Governance manager with a team of 6 advisors and assistants. This team is responsible for the day-to-day responses to the typical information requests etc, meaning the successful appointee will focus solely upon higher-level scrutiny and decision-making in relation to the more complex matters.

You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. You should be able to quickly gain credibility and buy in from the relevant stakeholders at all levels across a multidisciplinary organisation.

Remuneration is bespoke to the appropriate individual on either a fixed-term contract or day-rate basis. The role sits within IR35.

To learn more about this role, please send your CV to Adele Callaghan (specifying full details of your current remuneration package) or email me for a return call to discuss the role.
