The Planning team is a close-knit group that delivers for the needs of the City, driving growth and ensuring it works for all.

Your new role involves working in Oxford, a world-class city with an international reputation. The Development Management team has been involved in transformative projects, including the £440m Westgate Shopping Centre, 885 home urban extension at Barton, and mixed-use employment led development at Oxford North. This Senior / Principal level position as part of the Strategic team is a rare opportunity.

What you'll need to succeed: You should have experience with strategic and complex applications within a Local Authority. This high-pressure role requires you to progress through Major applications on behalf of the council. A track record of delivering on large schemes within a UK-based council is essential, although the supportive team will help upskill in various areas.
