You will be working for a Council in Oxfordshire.

The Council requires an experienced hybrid project manager/lead business analyst with a proven track record of implementing a new housing needs system (or very similar) with the skills and experience to help deliver this important project from start to finish. This will be a part-time role 3 days a week for 6 months.

The split between project management and business analyst support is expected to be 50/50 but may vary during the life of the project.

The Council's busy housing needs team provides key services to a large number of residents in Oxford to help improve service delivery. The Council has procured a new Cloud-Based Housing Needs System to provide core statutory services owed to residents under part 6 and 7 of the Housing Act and the Homeless Reduction Act including:

  • On-line housing applications, choice-based lettings and the allocation of social housing
  • Homelessness prevention, housing options and homelessness case management

This project will include moving these functions from the existing system to the new system and service re-design, while ensuring a continuity of service during this transition, to deliver financial and efficiency benefits.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You will have experience as both a business analyst and project manager to take this project through its lifecycle.
  • You will have a proven track record of implementing a new housing needs system (or very similar).
