Your new companyHays are delighted to be working with a major Overhead Lines Transmission contractor, preparing to support SPEN on a major framework over the next 10 years. An ambitious multinational organisation, our client is entering a very exciting period of growth with great career opportunities.Your new roleWe are looking for Overhead Lines Workers at all levels (LE1, LE2 and LE3). The scope of the contract will mean work will largely be located across Central and Southern Scotland.You will work across the full remit of works including the building of overhead lines equipment, pole climbing and rigging. You will work on both installation and refurbishing of lines up to 400kv, including further inspecting and testing.What you’ll need to succeedYou must have prior experience with overhead lines, ideally upto 400kv (experience only at 132 and 275kv will also be considered). SPEN authorisations would be beneficial, as well as a flexible approach to work across the geographical patch.What you’ll get in returnYou will receive a highly competitive salary of £50,000 – £60,000 dependent on experience.
