Your new role: On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Building Services (MEP) team based in Nottingham. In this role, you will take a leading position in the design, coordination and delivery of electrical building services systems, working on projects from early concept stages through to construction and completion. You will work within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment, collaborating closely with mechanical engineers, BIM technicians and other disciplines to deliver coordinated, efficient and compliant electrical designs.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Proven experience delivering electrical design within a Building Services (MEP) consultancy
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards, including BS 7671
- Experience working across multiple project stages, from concept to delivery
- The ability to manage and deliver work independently while supporting wider project teams
- Experience working within a BIM-led design environment, particularly Autodesk Revit
- Knowledge of sustainable and low-carbon design strategies
