Are you a strong leader with a passion for engineering, operations, and delivering first-class service in a highly technical environment? We are seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager to join our team—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven setting and is ready to play a key role in managing refurbishment and maintenance projects across a secure and complex estate for the MOD.
This is a varied and rewarding position where you will be responsible for ensuring the effective, compliant, and timely delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works, as well as small-scale additional projects. You will play a key role in maintaining buildings that are safe, operational, and fully compliant, using your technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure high standards are consistently met.
Your new role:
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance works in line with contractual and statutory requirements.
- Oversee small works and minor projects, ensuring quality, value, and safety standards are achieved.
- Lead and coordinate supply chain partners and operational teams.
- Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and carry out quality inspections.
- Ensure all tasks are recorded accurately within CAFM systems.
- Maintain compliance with statutory regulations, including Legionella, Asbestos, and Confined Spaces.
