A leading UK infrastructure and highways services provider is seeking a Small Works Site Supervisor to support ongoing maintenance operations across a live highway network. This role sits within a long-term maintenance framework and offers consistent, secure work on essential infrastructure.
As Small Works Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements:
- Supervising gangs carrying out minor highways maintenance works
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, method statements and risk assessments
- Coordinating traffic management in line with Chapter 8 requirements
- Liaising with engineers, subcontractors and the client
- Completing site paperwork, inspections and daily reports
- Ensuring quality standards and productivity targets are met
Requirements:
- Proven experience supervising highways maintenance or small works
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Full UK driving licence
